Not all urinary tract infections (UTIs) show signs or symptoms. When they do, some may include:

  • A strong and persisting urge to urinate

  • Uncomfortable burning

  • Passing small amounts of urine

  • Cloudy urine

  • Urine that seems red, pink, or light brown โ€“ indication of blood in the urine

  • Strong smelling urine

  • In women, pain in the lowest part of your abdomen, pelvis, or around pubic bone
