UrinDx (ur-in-dex) uses several different color lights to indicate the status of the device.
At initial setup - after the device is powered on:
Color | Meaning |
Solid blue 🔵 | UrinDx is turning on.
Your device will have a solid blue LED for 5 seconds. |
On every day use:
(Walk in with your phone open to the Starling app.)
Color | Meaning |
Blinking blue 🔵 | UrinDx is looking to connect to your smartphone.
If you don't see the blue blinking light, please check your mobile app is active and bluetooth is on. |
Blinking green 🟢 | UrinDx is ready to receive a sample.
Your device will blink green for 30 seconds before it goes to Power Save mode. |
Multicolored lights 🌈 | The device is capturing a sample. |
Blinking green and blue 🟢🔵 | UrinDx is sending your sample's data.
Your device will go into sleep mode for 5 minutes. |
Other light patterns you may see:
Color | Meaning |
Blinking blue 🔵 | UrinDx is trying to connect with your smartphone.
You will see blue if the phone is out of range, if the Starling Medical app is not open, or if the app has been in the background idle for a long period of time. |
Solid red 🔴 | Your UrinDx may need to be cleaned.
If you have cleaned UrinDx with soap and water and you are still getting a red light, please contact the Support Team for advanced troubleshooting. |
